cotton and cotton blends

Cotton is a soft fluffy staple fibre and is made up almost entirely of cellulose. Remnants of cotton fabrics have been dated back to 6000 BCE in Peru. It grows in many different climates and countries including the Americas, Africa, Egypt, China, India and Australia.

The ideal fibre for hotter climates cotton is spun into thread to make a soft breathable yarn. As a natural fibre Green Tea Yarns has been looking to stocking a greater variety of cotton yarns suitable for knitting and crochet - the range is growing.
