China Blue- 8 ply merino/silk/yak - Masala 8

My classic China Blue here on Masala ... you can see the textured yarn through giving it a light heathered effect. This colour comes across as a light mid navy.

Beautiful as a beanie, cowl or heavier shawl and teams beautifully with Ming Tile and Tamarind Sunset

8 ply, double knit. 100g = 212 metres

Fibre

Masala double knit DK (8 ply0 yarn: 60% sw merino, 20% silk and 20% yak.

It’s beautifully soft and smooth - just a pleasure to knit with. 

It is recommended that you hand wash in cool to luke warm water with a wool wash to prevent dissociating. Slight bleeding may occur but should not effect the final colour. The merino is superwash but the dyes can disassociate in hot water. 

Yarn information

Masala 8 is my new 8 ply yarn - 60% superwash merino and 20% silk, and 20% yak. It has a nice firm ply made up of 4 plies.

Hand wash in luke warm water to ensure longevity of the dyes.

The Forbidden Garden

The Forbidden Garden is the second collection of colours based on my recent travels to China. There are seven colours to the second collection: Red Lacquer, Wild Orchid, China Blue, Matcha Green, China Doll, Ming Tile and Dragonfruit.
