Mokume Gane on Anise - silk and linen 4 ply

A gorgeous denim type blue on this beautiful new base... 

Tonal variation throughout the skein (possible pooling) - I've included a skein unwound so you can see it's postential.

Anise - I had looked for a 4 ply silk and linen yarn for a long time and after trialling one from Canada and not being pleased with the coast and the quality I had this new yarn milled especially for me from my usual silk mill in Switzerland. It has a beautiful sheen and light summer texture - perfect for summer tops and shawls. 

Hand wash in luke warm water - some colour bleeding may occur but it should effect the main colour.
