    Into the Night is a gradient of a rich navy ranging through to a pale blue to platinum and onto a brown/black burnt umber type of colour. I'm so proud of this gorgeous gradient - some gradients just seem to sing and this is one of them. Images are currently of this gradient on my Mulberry silk heavy lace (Ginseng lace).     The choice of base can affect the colours slightly.

    • Darjeeling: 85% Australian Merino, 15% nylon. 400m/100gms. Yarn knits as a 3 ply (but is of 4 ply construction). Purported to be the softest sock yarn ever.

      100 gms - 400 metres

      White Cloud: 50% Swiss Mulberry silk and 50% silky Merino wool. Gorgeous and soft - totally luxurious.
      100 gms - 400 metres / fingering, 4 ply weight. 

      Ginseng (f) : 100% Swiss Mulberry silk - smooth, glossy and truly top quality beautiful - plied
      100 gms - 400 metres /fingering, 4ply weight. Pictured in photo 1.

      The same gorgeous Swiss mulberry silk as the regular fingering (4ply weight Ginseng). Smooth, glossy and plied. Perfect for summer shawls.
      100gms - 600 metres/heavy lace, 2 ply weight.

      Sencha: 50% Mulberry silk and 50% silky Australian Merino wool - picture is of this base. 
      100gms - 700m / lace weight, 2 ply weight. Any longer gradient will need a knot to reach a longer gradient. This is the fourth picture.
