• Watermelon slice sock gradient comes in 2 x 50 gm cakes ready for your sock (or glove) knitting with two colour changes to allow for different sized feet (or hands) to make the most of the gradient.

Blanks are double knitted to ensure the changes come at the same place on each of the cakes. To ensure betting matching it is important to start both your socks from the same end of the cake.

Watermelon slice goes from a cheerful apple green through to a pretty reddish pink - like a watermelon! The gradient goes green/pink/green/pink/green.

Watermelon Slice sock gradient - 4 ply sock yarn in merino and nylon

    • 4 ply fingering weight. 100g - 425metres

    • Mangosteen sock yarn: 75% merino, 25% nylon.

A soft smooth sock base that dyes up like a dream into anything I can dream up! Slightly firmer than Darjeeling and with a higher nylon content.

It is recommended that you hand wash in cool to luke warm water with a wool wash to prevent dissociating. Slight bleeding may occur but should not effect the final colour. The merino is superwash but the dyes not. (However, I'm not hand washing my socks so there)!
