Azure Blue

Azure Blue is a rich, clear blue that sits between deep ocean and bright tropical water. The colour carries strong teal undertones, giving it a lively, mineral quality rather than a flat navy. In some areas the dye settles slightly darker, creating gentle tonal shifts that move from saturated blue-green depths to brighter flashes of blue along the twist of the yarn.

The overall effect is bold but elegant. It has the clarity of a high summer sky over water, combined with the depth of polished turquoise stone. The subtle variation across the skein keeps the colour interesting in knitted fabric, where stitches catch the light and reveal darker and brighter passages of blue.

Azure Blue works beautifully on its own for garments and shawls, and also pairs well with soft greys, natural creams, deep navy, or warm brass and gold tones for striking contrast.
