Bugs & Insects Yarn Club
The Bugs & Insects Yarn Club is a few months long exploration of colour found in the small, extraordinary details of the natural world. Each month features a new insect as inspiration, translated into a carefully dyed colourway that celebrates pattern, contrast, and unexpected beauty.
From iridescent wings to warning brights and intricate markings, these yarns lean into bold palettes and layered tones rather than novelty. Each colourway is exclusive to the club and will not be repeated.
This club is for knitters and crocheters who enjoy colour exploration and tell a quiet but distinctive story.
2026 Insect Line-up
-
January – Pink Winged Phasma
Soft pinks balanced with subtle warmth and shadow, inspired by delicate wings and botanical camouflage. -
February – Hibiscus Harlequin Bug
Punchy reds and pinks with strong contrast, echoing the graphic markings and tropical energy of this striking insect. -
March – Indian Painted Grasshopper
A complex mix of saturated colour layered over earthy undertones, bold without being chaotic. -
April – Neon Cuckoo Bee
High-impact brights with dark accents, sharp, electric, and impossible to ignore.
Each skein is dyed in small batches, with natural variation that keeps every club delivery feeling individual while remaining cohesive within the theme.
Membership in this exclusive and limited club gives you first access to limited edition yarn sets inspired by some of nature’s most eye-catching insects. Each month takes its cue from wings, shells, and bold markings, translating tiny details into colour with personality. Let these small but spectacular creatures spark your creativity as you knit and crochet pieces shaped by colour, pattern, and a sense of fun.
