This versatile fingering-weight yarn is well suited to shawls, lightweight garments, scarves, cowls and accessories where softness and drape are desired. While it can be used for socks, a single-ply yarn is less resistant to wear than a plied construction, making Pine best suited to projects that won't be subjected to heavy abrasion.
