Fallen Ashes is a deep charcoal grey with subtle blue undertones that emerge as the light catches its surface. Dark and atmospheric without being completely black, it carries the soft, weathered character of cooled embers and ash after a fire has burned low. The tonal variation throughout the skein adds depth and movement, giving the colour a richness that reveals itself gradually.
A sophisticated neutral, Fallen Ashes pairs effortlessly with almost any palette. It provides a striking backdrop for vibrant colours, while sitting beautifully alongside softer shades such as silver, blush, sage, or pale blue. Elegant, versatile, and quietly dramatic, this is a charcoal that brings depth and contrast to any project without overwhelming it.
Jasmine 3 Ply – Merino Silk
Jasmine 3 Ply is a beautifully soft blend of 50% superwash merino and 50% silk, combining the natural softness and elasticity of merino with the lustre, drape and smooth handle of silk. This fine heavy laceweight yarn has a lovely sheen and creates a light, fluid fabric with beautiful stitch definition.
At 600 metres per 100 grams, Jasmine 3 Ply is particularly suited to lace shawls, lightweight scarves, delicate accessories and fine garments. It can be used on its own for intricate lacework or held together with another yarn to create additional texture and depth.
Jasmine 3 Ply is also lovely paired with our Shui Yun mohair and silk, where the fine merino and silk base provides a beautiful foundation for the soft, airy halo of the mohair.

Care
Although the merino is superwash treated, we recommend gentle hand washing in cool water using a wool wash to help preserve the silk, hand-dyed colours and softness of the yarn. Avoid rubbing, twisting or agitation. Gently squeeze out excess water, roll in a towel and lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight.
A Note About Hand-Dyed Yarn
Each skein of Green Tea Yarns is hand dyed in small batches, so subtle variations in colour and depth are part of the character of the yarn. Even skeins dyed from the same recipe may vary slightly. For larger projects, we recommend purchasing enough yarn from the same dye batch and alternating skeins as you work to help create an even overall colour.
