Granny's Cloak Moth set - Jasmine merino/silk yarn - 4 ply

Originally dyed as part of the 2025 yarn club  and now available as a set.

This rich, earthy bundle brings together all three shades from our Granny’s Cloak Moth series—a tribute to the beauty of wings in motion and the subtle drama of dusk-hued moths.

The first skein in the set is lively yet grounded, with shifting flashes of ginger, purple, and pink layered with delicate speckles. It’s bold without being brash—a celebration of movement and colour.

The second skein offers a soft, warm brown with a gentle earthiness that complements and balances the other shades. It’s the quiet underwing—natural and deeply wearable.

The third skein adds intrigue with its speckled earthy brown base and unexpected flashes of greeny yellow flickering through like the glint of sunlight on wings.

Fibre Information

4 ply, fingering yarn. 100 gms gives you 400 metres

Jasmine 4 yarn: 50% non superwash merino, 50% silk

Beautifully soft and makes a gorgeous shawl or other wearable object.

It is recommended that you hand wash in cool to lukewarm water with a wool wash to prevent dissociating. Slight bleeding may occur but should not affect the final colour. The merino is non superwash so be careful not to agitate too much to prevent felting.
