Neon Cuckoo Bee #1
A deep, midnight navy blue with a rich, almost ink-like depth. This colour sits beautifully between navy and indigo, with subtle violet undertones that emerge through the yarn’s fine twist. The result is a dark, saturated blue that feels moody and sophisticated without becoming quite black.
The colour has a lovely tonal quality across the skein, with tiny variations in depth adding movement and dimension. In softer light it reads as a classic deep navy, while brighter light reveals the blue and faint purple notes within it.
Neon Cuckoo Bee #1 is a wonderfully versatile dark shade, working beautifully as a statement colour on its own or as a strong contrast alongside brighter blues, purples, pinks and jewel tones. It has the depth to anchor a colourful project while still retaining enough colour to make the finished fabric interesting.
Jasmine 4 Ply – Merino Silk (Non-Superwash)
Jasmine 4 Ply is a beautifully balanced blend of 50% merino and 50% silk, offering softness, strength and a gentle natural sheen. This base is non-superwash, giving the finished fabric a more organic feel with lovely structure and excellent stitch definition.
At 400 metres per 100 grams, Jasmine 4 Ply is ideal for garments, shawls and fine accessories where drape and lightness matter. The silk content lends a subtle glow and fluid movement, while the merino provides warmth and elasticity for comfortable wear.
Suggested needle size: 2.75mm – 3.25mm
Gauge: Approximately 28–32 stitches per 10cm (depending on tension and project)
It is beautiful worked alone for a smooth, polished fabric, and pairs effortlessly with our mohair and silk base, Shui Yun, if you wish to add a soft halo and extra dimension.
Care Instructions:
Hand wash gently in cool water using a wool wash. Do not wring. Roll in a towel to remove excess moisture and lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight.
Jasmine 4 Ply is an elegant, versatile base that allows colour and craftsmanship to take centre stage.
