New Red is a richly saturated colour that sits somewhere between deep crimson and a moody garnet. In this photo, the hue shows off its complexity: a base of intense red layered with cooler, darker undertones that veer toward plum and oxblood. There’s a smooth tonal variation throughout, with subtle shifts from glowing, almost ruby reds through to areas that are shadowed with a soft brown-black.

When knitted this yarn has a wonderful rich and lustrous handle and drape just as a pure silk item should be - I love it and hope you do too.
It is recommended that you hand wash in cool to luke warm water with a special silk detergent. Slight bleeding may occur but should not effect the final colour.
