Oysters on the Bay is a serene, coastal-inspired colourway that captures the soft, shifting palette of oyster shells resting on a quiet shoreline. Muted greys form the base, gently layered with touches of silvery lavender, pale mauve, and the faintest hint of blue-green—like sea-glass glimpsed beneath the water. There are subtle tonal shifts throughout, evoking the natural patina of shells polished by tide and time. It’s an elegant, understated colourway with a gentle lustre, perfect for those who love a refined neutral with a sea-swept edge. Whether used alone or paired with bolder shades, it brings a sense of calm and coastal clarity.
Jasmine 8 Ply DK – Merino Silk
Jasmine 8 Ply is a beautiful blend of 50% superwash merino and 50% silk, combining the softness and elasticity of merino with the natural lustre and drape of silk. This DK weight version has a slightly tighter twist than our 4 Ply Jasmine, giving it excellent stitch definition and a smooth, even fabric.
At 212 metres per 100 grams, Jasmine 8 Ply is a versatile yarn for garments and accessories. It is particularly well suited to sweaters, cardigans, shawls, cowls, hats and other projects where you want a soft fabric with good drape and definition. The tighter twist also makes it a lovely choice for textured stitches, cables and colourwork.
Jasmine 8 Ply can be knitted on its own or paired with our Shui Yun mohair and silk to add a soft halo and extra dimension to your project.

Care
Although the merino is superwash treated, we recommend gentle hand washing in cool water with a wool wash to help preserve the silk, hand-dyed colours and overall beauty of the yarn. Do not wring or agitate. Gently squeeze out excess water, roll in a towel and lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight.
