Petal and Plum combines vibrant shades of hot pink and rich purple in a colourway full of contrast and energy. Bright, saturated pinks bring a lively, almost electric quality, while deep plum and vivid violet flow through the skeins, creating areas of darker intensity. The colours mingle and blend, shifting between pink-dominant sections and bold purple patches, with occasional hints of magenta connecting the two. This is a striking combination for knitters and crocheters who enjoy strong colour and a little drama in their projects. Perfect for statement socks, shawls and accessories, Petal and Plum brings a playful, colourful finish to handmade pieces.
One of a kind and not to be repeated
Darjeeling 4 Ply
Darjeeling is a beautifully soft and versatile 4 ply / fingering weight yarn made from 80% superwashed merino and 20% nylon. The merino gives this yarn its lovely softness and comfortable handle, while the nylon adds strength and durability without compromising its feel.
At 400 metres per 100g, Darjeeling is an excellent choice for socks, where the added nylon provides extra resilience for everyday wear. It is equally suited to lightweight sweaters, cardigans, shawls, wraps, scarves and other garments and accessories where softness, drape and durability are important.
The 4 ply construction gives good stitch definition and makes Darjeeling particularly adaptable to lace, textured stitches, cables and colourwork. It takes hand-dyed colour beautifully, allowing both subtle and highly saturated colourways to shine.

Care
Hand wash gently in cool water using a wool wash. Avoid soaking for extended periods, agitation and wringing. Gently squeeze out excess water and dry flat. Although the merino is superwashed, gentle handling will help maintain the appearance and softness of your finished project.
As with all hand-dyed yarns, we recommend alternating skeins when using more than one skein in a project to help blend natural variations between skeins.
