Pond Life is a lively mix of vivid lime, fresh grass green and deeper forest greens, with flashes of yellow-green that brighten the colourway. Darker teal-green and almost black-green sections weave through the lighter shades, creating a striking variegated effect with plenty of contrast and movement. The colours shift between bright, sunlit greens and shadowy, deeper tones, reminiscent of aquatic plants, moss and the rich vegetation growing around a pond. Each section brings a different balance of light and dark, giving Pond Life a lively, organic character with a distinctly green palette.
Chai – 100% Tussah Silk Yarn
Chai is a fine laceweight yarn spun from 100% Tussah silk, offering an impressive 1000 metres per 100g skein. With its natural lustre, subtle texture and fluid drape, Chai is well suited to lace shawls, fine scarves and lightweight garments.
The fine construction allows for intricate stitch patterns and open lacework, while the silk gives finished projects a beautiful drape and a gentle sheen. With its generous meterage, Chai is a versatile choice for projects where lightness, texture and the natural qualities of silk are central to the design.

Typical Gauge
Approximately 28–36 stitches per 10cm, depending on needle size, stitch pattern and tension. Lace projects are often worked at a looser gauge to allow the pattern to open during blocking. Always work a swatch where gauge is important.
Care Instructions
Hand wash gently in cool water using a mild wool or silk wash. Avoid rubbing, agitation and wringing. Rinse carefully, press out excess water in a towel and dry flat away from direct sunlight. Handle gently when wet, as silk fibres can be more vulnerable to damage.
Please Note
Chai is a hand-dyed yarn, and subtle variations in colour are part of the dyeing process. Slight differences may occur between skeins and dye batches. For larger projects, we recommend purchasing sufficient yarn from the same dye batch and alternating skeins throughout the project to help maintain an even colour distribution.
