Five Colour Fade — Choose Your Mix
A five-colour fade with a little more flexibility built in. Each colour flows into the next, creating a gradual transition across your project, while the mix-and-match format lets you choose where you want to place the extra yarn.
The five colours are arranged from deepest to lightest, with Colour 3 forming the centre of the fade. You can select additional skeins of your preferred colours — useful when you need extra yarn for sleeves, a larger size, or simply want more of a particular shade.
How it works
Start with the five-colour fade, then choose your quantities from the available skeins. You might use one skein of each colour for a smaller project, or add extra skeins towards the lighter end for a sweater with more room for sleeves and finishing.
Colour 1 — deepest shade
Colour 2 — first transition
Colour 3 — centre colour
Colour 4 — second transition
Colour 5 — lightest shade
Colour 3 is available as a single skein, while additional quantities are available in the other colours. This means you can build your fade around the centre colour while deciding where you would like the extra yardage to sit.
A little planning goes a long way
If you're choosing yarn for a garment, check the requirements of your pattern before ordering. As a general guide, additional skeins are often useful for sleeves, larger sizes or longer body lengths.
If you're unsure how many skeins you'll need, please get in touch before ordering and we'll be happy to help you work out a combination.
Please note: Each skein is individually hand dyed, so there may be subtle variations between skeins. We recommend ordering enough yarn for your project at the same time where possible.
