Rose Blush Fade with an extra Jasmine Skein
Rose Blush is a soft and pretty progression through pink, beginning with the palest blush and moving through gentle rose and warm pink tones before finishing in a vibrant, vivid pink. The fade has a lovely sense of progression, with each shade flowing naturally into the next.
This set includes the three-skein Rose Blush Fade on Gyrokuro, together with an additional skein of Jasmine 4 ply in Rose Blush. The extra Jasmine gives you a smooth merino and silk companion yarn in the same colour palette, making it ideal for adding structure and contrast to a project while the Gyrokuro provides its characteristic fluffy halo and subtle sparkle.
Gyrokuro is a 3 ply/heavy laceweight yarn with 300m per 50g, spun from 64% kid mohair, 23% silk, 3% superwash merino and 10% sequins. The mohair creates a soft, airy halo, while the silk adds drape and the tiny sequins provide a gentle touch of sparkle. It can be used on its own or held alongside another yarn, where it adds softness, colour depth and a little glimmer. Green Tea Yarns
Jasmine 4 ply is a smooth 50% merino / 50% mulberry silk yarn with 400m per 100g. It is a non-superwash base with beautiful drape and a smooth stitch definition, making it an excellent partner for Gyrokuro. Used together, the Jasmine provides the structure while the Gyrokuro floats over it with a soft halo and subtle sparkle.
Both yarns are hand dyed by Green Tea Yarns, so there may be slight variations between skeins. The combination gives you plenty of scope for creating a shawl, wrap or lightweight garment with the pinks gradually shifting from soft and understated to wonderfully bright. Green Tea Yarns
