Sandalwood
Sandalwood is a soft, muted blush with warm peachy-pink undertones. A gentle, earthy shade that sits beautifully between dusty rose and pale terracotta, with a subtle warmth that gives it a natural, understated appeal. The colour has a lovely softness, reminiscent of sun-warmed sandalwood with a hint of faded pink.
On the silky yarn, Sandalwood has a beautiful lustre, allowing the colour to shift gently between peach, rose and soft nude as the light catches the fibres. A versatile shade for shawls, scarves and lightweight garments, it would pair beautifully with creams, warm neutrals, soft sage and deeper berry tones.
Pekoe Heavy Lace Silk Yarn – 3 Ply
100% Mulberry Silk | 600m / 100g
Pekoe Heavy Lace is a beautifully smooth 3 ply, 100% mulberry silk yarn with a lovely lustre and a soft, flowing drape. With 600 metres in every 100 gram skein, it is a wonderful choice for lace shawls, wraps and lightweight garments where the natural sheen of silk can be enjoyed.
The 3 ply construction gives Pekoe a little more structure than a singles lace yarn, while retaining the fluid drape and smooth handle that make silk such a pleasure to knit. It works particularly well for lace patterns, textured stitches and projects where you want the yarn to show off both colour and stitch definition.
Available in the hand dyed colours of Green Tea Yarns, Pekoe Heavy Lace is a versatile addition to a knitter’s collection, whether you are planning a generous shawl or a fine, lightweight layer.

As with all hand dyed yarns, some colour variation may occur between skeins. We recommend alternating skeins when working with more than one skein in a project.
