Sea Mist OB - on Shui Yun - Silk and Mohair - lace 2 ply

Sea Mist is a delicate, tranquil shade that sits between blue and green, touched with a fine veil of silvery light. It captures the calm of early morning by the sea, when mist hovers just above the water and the air feels cool and clean. There is a sense of quiet movement within the colour, as though a breeze has passed across its surface, softening the edges of both blue and green. Sea Mist has an airy, luminous quality that suggests openness and reflection, making it a colour that evokes balance, peace, and the soft light of a coastal horizon.

This batch of Shui Yun has a slightly drier hand than our usual cloud-soft halo, offering a more defined texture and gentle structure. The firm silk core gives strength and subtle sheen, while the mohair creates a light, refined haze rather than a soft fluff. It is being offered at a 20% auto discount.

500 metres to 50 gms, making it a dreamy laceweight yarn by itself.

65% kid Mohair and 35% mulberry silk.

Gorgeous and fluffy - not easy to work with but beautiful for an added touch of luxury.

After seeing how one of my customers masterfully blends her luxury yarns - combining lace weights and luxury silks with Shui Yun I knew I should offer it in my line up.

Combine it with silk or merino for a wonderfully soft and fluffy project!

It is highly recommended that you hand wash in cool to lukewarm water with a special silk detergent. Slight bleeding may occur but should not effect the final colour.
