Slate Grey OOAK

Slate Grey OOAK is a deep, smoky slate grey with subtle cool lavender-blue undertones. The overall colour is firmly slate grey, with the beautiful sheen of the silk revealing soft shifts into charcoal, blue-grey and the faintest muted violet as the yarn catches the light. It has a dusky, slightly weathered quality that gives the colour depth and character without feeling heavy or stark.

A wonderfully versatile grey, Slate Grey OOAK works beautifully as a neutral but has enough colour variation to make it more interesting than a traditional charcoal. It would pair particularly well with soft lavender, dusty blue, silver, faded denim, charcoal and other cool, muted shades.

Dyed as a one-of-a-kind colourway, there is only this one skein available, making this a lovely choice for a special shawl, or luxurious accessory.

Weight & Length

Ginseng 4 Ply

Ginseng 4 Ply is a beautifully smooth 100% mulberry silk yarn with a lustrous finish and exceptional drape. This 4 ply/fingering-weight silk is spun to give definition while retaining the fluid, luxurious character that makes silk such a pleasure to knit and crochet.

With 400 metres per 100g, Ginseng 4 Ply is an excellent choice for shawls, scarves, lightweight tops, cardigans and other projects where drape and stitch definition are important. It also makes a lovely choice for lace knitting, allowing intricate stitch patterns to stand out beautifully.
