The colour Speckled Dragon is a playful blend of warm and cool tones. The base is a soft, powdery pink, airy and delicate like flower petals. Through it run subtle streaks and speckles of earthy greens, warm golds, and touches of red and orange — creating the impression of dragon scales catching the light. The effect is both gentle and lively, with the pink softening the brighter accents so they glow rather than clash. On a mohair and silk base, the colours shimmer together, giving the yarn depth and a sense of movement — like a mythical creature resting in a field of spring blooms.
This dye lot is quite a bit pinker than previously... one of the joys of hand dyeing!
