This particular gradient has some minor spotting of the colours during the production stages and so is reduced in price. The spotting can be seen in the pictures of the production knitting stage of the dyeing process, but this is dispersed as the yarn is wound off into the finished ball. This is still a delightful gradient but the price is reduced by 20%.
