Wheaten is a soft, golden oat shade that captures the warmth of ripened fields in late summer. Gentle tonal shifts move between pale straw and light honey, adding depth and dimension to the fibres. Its natural, sunlit glow makes it a versatile choice, pairing beautifully with both warm and cool palettes for light, delicate projects or layered, textural knits.

Weight & Length
4 ply, sock or fingering yarn. 100 gms gives you 400 metres recommended needle size is 2.25 - 2.5 for socks, and up to 3.0 for other items.
Fibre
Darjeeling yarn: 85% Merino, 15% Nylon
Beautifully soft and just the right amount of nylon for a pair of socks. This also makes a gorgeous shawl or other wearable object.
It is recommended that you hand wash in cool to luke warm water with a wool wash to prevent dissociating. Slight bleeding may occur on more intense colours but should not effect the final colour. The merino is superwash but the dyes are not. (However, I'm not hand washing my socks so there!)
