Wild Orchid

Wild Orchid is a complex shade that moves quietly between tones of purple, blue, pink and red. Its character shifts with the light: in sunlight it shows as a rich fuchsia, while in the shade it deepens to burgundy, softened by a halo of purples and reds. Subtle yet distinctive, Wild Orchid offers a depth of colour that changes with its setting, making it a thoughtful choice for projects that embrace nuance and variation.

Jasmine 4 Ply – Merino Silk (Non-Superwash)

Jasmine 4 Ply is a beautifully balanced blend of 50% merino and 50% silk, offering softness, strength and a gentle natural sheen. This base is non-superwash, giving the finished fabric a more organic feel with lovely structure and excellent stitch definition.

At 400 metres per 100 grams, Jasmine 4 Ply is ideal for garments, shawls and fine accessories where drape and lightness matter. The silk content lends a subtle glow and fluid movement, while the merino provides warmth and elasticity for comfortable wear.

Suggested needle size: 2.75mm – 3.25mm
Gauge: Approximately 28–32 stitches per 10cm (depending on tension and project)

It is beautiful worked alone for a smooth, polished fabric, and pairs effortlessly with our mohair and silk base, Shui Yun, if you wish to add a soft halo and extra dimension.

Care Instructions:
Hand wash gently in cool water using a wool wash. Do not wring. Roll in a towel to remove excess moisture and lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight.
