Brushstrokes is a vibrant, painterly colourway that feels like an artist’s palette captured on yarn. Splashes of deep berry, wine, and plum mingle with fresh strokes of leafy green, inky navy, and golden ochre, all layered over soft cream and blush bases. The colours shift and blend with the ease of brush on canvas, creating areas of bold contrast alongside gentle transitions. Each skein carries its own rhythm of colour, making no two exactly alike. This lively mix offers endless creative possibilities, perfect for projects that want to showcase movement, depth, and the energy of hand-painted art.
Weight & Length
4 ply, sock or fingering yarn. 100 gms gives you 400 metres recommended needle size is 2.25 - 2.5 for socks, and up to 3.0 for other items.
Fibre
Darjeeling yarn: 85% Merino, 15% Nylon
Beautifully soft and just the right amount of nylon for a pair of socks. This also makes a gorgeous shawl or other wearable object.
It is recommended that you hand wash in cool to luke warm water with a wool wash to prevent dissociating. Slight bleeding may occur on more intense colours but should not effect the final colour. The merino is superwash but the dyes are not. (However, I'm not hand washing my socks so there!)
