10 Ply Yarn

10 ply yarn falls within the realms of Aran weight (UK) and Worsted weight (US). The meterage on a 10 ply yarn varies anywhere from 130 metres to 200 metres per 100gms. Valued for it's quick knitting, and chunky effect it can use quite a few skeins. Please check your pattern meterage to be sure you purchase enough skeins. 

wraps per inch: 8 - 10 wraps/2.5 cm

Needle size - 4.5 - 5.5mm needle size

Gauge: 16 - 20 stitches over 10cm
