Moonlit is a very pale, whisper-soft purple with a cool, silvery cast. It sits right on the edge between lavender and grey, like violet light diluted by moon glow. Subtle blue undertones keep it fresh and calm rather than sweet, giving it an airy, almost frosted quality. In brighter light it reads as a clean, light lavender; in softer light it settles into a gentle pearl-grey lilac. Elegant and restrained, this is a colour that lets texture and stitch work shine while adding just a quiet hint of purple magic.
Pale colours are the hardest to reproduce accurately, so please be sure to order enough for your project at the time so that it can be all the same dyelot.
Prices stay at 20% off during the month they are featured, and then return to full price after. The number in stock is shown but is listed as being dyed to order so you can order beyond the stock level. This currently takes two weeks for simple orders and possibly longer for multi yarn orders and during busy periods. They remain as dye to order for the rest of the year they are featured.
I'm leaving up our 2025 colours so you can still select those.
I try to arrange a good range of yarn options.
