Jasmine 3 Ply – Mulberry Silk & Merino Yarn

Jasmine 3 ply is a beautiful blend of 50% merino and 50% mulberry silk, combining the natural softness of merino with the smoothness and subtle lustre of silk. This non-superwash yarn has a lovely drape and is well suited to lightweight shawls, scarves, delicate garments and other projects where texture and colour can shine.

Recommended Needle & Hook Sizes

Knitting: 2.5–3.5 mm needles, depending on your project and desired fabric.

Crochet: 2.5–3.5 mm hook, depending on your pattern and preferred tension.

Typical Gauge

Gauge will vary depending on needle size, stitch pattern and how loosely or firmly you knit.

As a starting point, approximately 28–32 stitches per 10 cm on 2.5–3.5 mm needles when knitted in stocking stitch.

For lace shawls and openwork designs, a larger needle may be preferred to create a more open, flowing fabric.

Care Instructions

Hand wash gently in cool water using a mild wool wash. Do not agitate, rub or wring, as even superwash merino can felt with rough handling. Rinse thoroughly, gently squeeze out excess water and lay flat to dry, reshaping as needed.
