Dreams of a Starry Night - 2 Ply in Silk & Alpaca - Echinacea

My Dreams of a Starry Night colorway is sophisticated and rich, reminiscent of my old much loved school uniform with a rich deep navy and hints of grey and tonal highlights.

Latest Dye lot is a tad lighter and more "blue" than previously. 2 skeins of the lighter dye lot and 1 skein of the older dye lot. Photos show the new ones first. Please be sure to comment which you'd like (if possible)

Echinacea: 70% Silk & 30% Alpaca

A semi glossy and luxurious Royal alpaca and silk lace yarn, spun in Switzerland.

When knitted this yarn has really great stitch definition, good strength (due to the silk) and has a lovely handle and drape. The silk provides enough strength to hold beads, whilst the alpaca gives it a sleek softness.

It is recommended that you hand wash in cool to luke warm water with a special silk detergent. Slight bleeding may occur but should not effect the final color.
