Dry Earth is a rich, earthy brown with golden ochre and muted olive undertones. The colour shifts between warm camel, bronze and deeper tobacco brown, with subtle variations that give it a natural, weathered appearance. There is a gentle golden glow throughout, balanced by softer, mossy tones that keep the brown from appearing too red or orange. Reminiscent of sun-baked soil, dry grasses and the bark of Australian eucalypts, Dry Earth has a quiet, organic character. It is a versatile, nature-inspired colour that pairs beautifully with creams, warm neutrals, muted greens, rusts and deeper browns.
Fibre Information -
Absolutely — I’d keep the same structure and information style across the Jasmine bases, with the 8 Ply version clearly differentiated by its superwash finish, tighter twist and DK weight.
Jasmine 8 Ply DK – Merino Silk
Jasmine 8 Ply is a beautiful blend of 50% superwash merino and 50% silk, combining the softness and elasticity of merino with the natural lustre and drape of silk. This DK weight version has a slightly tighter twist than our 4 Ply Jasmine, giving it excellent stitch definition and a smooth, even fabric.
At 212 metres per 100 grams, Jasmine 8 Ply is a versatile yarn for garments and accessories. It is particularly well suited to sweaters, cardigans, shawls, cowls, hats and other projects where you want a soft fabric with good drape and definition. The tighter twist also makes it a lovely choice for textured stitches, cables and colourwork.
Jasmine 8 Ply can be knitted on its own or paired with our Shui Yun mohair and silk to add a soft halo and extra dimension to your project.

Care
Although the merino is superwash treated, we recommend gentle hand washing in cool water with a wool wash to help preserve the silk, hand-dyed colours and overall beauty of the yarn. Do not wring or agitate. Gently squeeze out excess water, roll in a towel and lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight.
Pair with one of our fluffies for a gentle halo - Shui Yun, Rosemary, Gyrokuro or Nigiri (the last two have a beautiful touch of sparkle too).
