Favourite Rug
Favourite Rug is a warm, lived-in blend of rich pinks and earthy neutrals, reminiscent of the colours found in a well-loved woven rug. Deep raspberry and magenta tones move through the skein alongside softer rose pinks, creating a strong and confident colour presence. These vibrant shades are balanced by areas of warm cocoa brown, muted taupe, and gentle cream.
Occasional touches of pale cool grey break through the warmer tones, adding contrast and helping the colours shift and flow across the yarn. The overall effect is layered and textural, with each section revealing a slightly different combination of colour.
When worked up, Favourite Rug produces fabric with movement and depth—bold pinks appearing against softer neutral passages, much like the patterning and subtle wear of a favourite textile that has gathered character over time.

Fibre
Darjeeling yarn: 85% Merino, 15% Nylon
Beautifully soft and just the right amount of nylon for a pair of socks. This also makes a gorgeous shawl or other wearable object.
It is recommended that you hand wash in cool to luke warm water with a wool wash to prevent dissociating. Slight bleeding may occur but should not effect the final colour. The merino is superwash but the dyes not. (However, I'm not hand washing my socks so there!)
