Golden Green Gryphon — 12-Skein Darjeeling Fade
A rich, earthy fade moving from golden yellow through ochre, olive and mossy greens into deep woodland shades. Golden Green Gryphon is a 12-skein collection designed to let the colours flow gradually from one shade to the next, creating a beautifully cohesive project with plenty of depth and variation.
Each kit contains 12 full skeins of Green Tea Yarns Darjeeling 4 ply, our 80% Australian merino / 20% nylon sock yarn, with 400 metres per 100g skein. The soft merino gives the yarn a lovely handle and excellent stitch definition, while the nylon adds durability and makes it particularly well suited to garments and hard-wearing projects.
The colours have been carefully arranged as a fade, so you can work through the skeins sequentially for a long, flowing colour transition, or rearrange them to create your own combination. The palette has an earthy, slightly wild character — golden grasses, aged leaves, moss, olive and deep forest tones — making it a versatile choice for both modern and traditional designs.
With 4,800 metres of yarn in total, Golden Green Gryphon is suitable for a wide range of larger knitting and crochet projects, including shawls, blankets, wraps, sweaters, cardigans and other colourwork or fade projects.
