Paperbark is a deep woodland brown washed with rich plum and wine undertones. In some lights it leans towards bark-dark chocolate, while in others the colour opens into soft aubergine and mulberry highlights. Earthy and understated, it has a quiet depth that gives the shade warmth and complexity without becoming overly dark.

Pure Mulberry silk ... perfect for lace shawls, beautiful garments and to blend with other yarns to benefit from both.
It's very rare to find a knot in this yarn but it can occasionally happen.

I suspect that as time goes on we will all know which "That Year' was, for now it's still a little bit too close for comfort as we all have great hopes for the coming years ...
