Phoenix #1
Phoenix #1 is a rich, glowing golden amber with strong saffron and honeyed orange undertones. The colour shifts beautifully across the skeins, from deeper, saturated burnished orange-gold through to softer shades of marigold, honey and golden ochre.
There is a lovely variation between the lighter and darker areas, giving the colour plenty of movement without becoming overly variegated. The paler sections have a warm, creamy golden quality, while the deeper areas bring a little more fiery orange to the mix.
The overall impression is sunlit, warm and wonderfully rich — a golden colour with enough depth to work beautifully on its own, while also making a strong starting point for a fade or tonal combination.

8 ply, DK sock yarn. 100 gms gives you 225 metres
Darjeeling yarn: 80% Merino, 20% Nylon
Beautifully soft and just the right amount of nylon for a pair of DK socks. This also makes a gorgeous shawl or other wearable object.
It is recommended that you hand wash in cool to lukewarm water with a wool wash to prevent dissociating. Slight bleeding may occur but should not affect the final colour. The merino is superwash but the dyes not. (However, I'm not hand washing my socks so there!)
