Phoenix #11
Originally created as part of The Phoenix kit, Phoenix #11 is now available as an individual colourway. A rich, deep teal, it moves between blue-green, dark peacock and shadowed turquoise tones. Subtle shifts in depth give the colour a softly tonal appearance, with brighter teal highlights emerging across the surface of the yarn.
Dyed on Darjeeling DK, Phoenix #11 is available in versatile 50g skeins—ideal for colourwork, smaller accessories or adding extra depth to a larger project.
Darjeeling 8 Ply / DK
80% Superwash Merino | 20% Nylon
225m per 100g | 8 ply / DK weight
Darjeeling 8 ply is a soft and versatile DK-weight yarn, combining the smoothness and bounce of superwash merino with the added strength and resilience of nylon.
With a rounded structure and clear stitch definition, it works beautifully across a wide range of projects. The DK weight creates a comfortable, substantial fabric without feeling overly heavy, while the nylon adds durability for garments and accessories designed to be worn and enjoyed often.
Each skein is hand dyed in small batches, allowing colour to develop with subtle variation and character. As with all hand-dyed yarns, no two skeins will be exactly alike. When using more than one skein in a project, alternating skeins is recommended to create a balanced transition between them.
Darjeeling takes colour beautifully, with shades appearing clear and rich across the smooth merino base. It is well suited to sweaters, cardigans, vests, hats, scarves, shawls, blankets and children’s garments, as well as textured stitches, cables and colourwork.
