Storm Crow
A deep, moody charcoal with hints of slate and blue-violet running through the darker tones. Storm Crow has a lovely tonal variation, with soft silver-grey highlights appearing across the yarn, giving the colour depth and movement without losing its dark, understated character. Almost black in the shadows, it reveals more of its smoky grey tones in the light. A versatile shade for timeless garments, textured knits and accessories, Storm Crow pairs beautifully with soft neutrals, muted blues, dusty purples and richer jewel tones.
The yarn: Pine
100% Superwash Merino Singles
366 metres / 100 grams
4 Ply / Fingering Weight
Pine is a beautifully soft single-ply merino yarn with a smooth finish, gentle drape and a lightly rustic character. The singles construction allows colour to bloom across the fibre, giving hand-dyed shades a softly blended appearance with wonderful depth and variation.
This versatile fingering-weight yarn is well suited to shawls, lightweight garments, scarves, cowls and accessories where softness and drape are desired. While it can be used for socks, a single-ply yarn is less resistant to wear than a plied construction, making Pine best suited to projects that won't be subjected to heavy abrasion.

Care Instructions
Although Pine is made from superwash merino, gentle care will help keep your finished project looking its best.
-
Hand wash in cool water using a wool-friendly detergent.
-
Avoid soaking for extended periods.
-
Gently squeeze out excess water without wringing.
-
Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight.
-
Do not tumble dry.
-
Store finished garments folded rather than hanging to help maintain their shape.
As with all hand-dyed yarns, we recommend alternating skeins when working larger projects to ensure an even distribution of colour throughout your project.
