Tea Rose is a soft, muted pink with gentle mauve and dusty rose undertones. It has a subtle lilac cast that gives the colour a slightly cool, vintage quality, while hints of deeper rose add depth and variation. Lighter areas reveal a silvery pink sheen, while the shadows settle into a richer, dusky mauve. The overall effect is understated and romantic, reminiscent of old-fashioned roses with petals that have softened and deepened with age. A lovely balance of pink and mauve, Tea Rose is gentle without being pale, offering a timeless rose shade with a quiet, slightly weathered character.

Ginseng 4 Ply / Fingering

Ginseng is a beautiful 100% mulberry silk yarn with a smooth, lustrous finish and wonderful drape. At 400 metres per 100g, it is a versatile 4 ply / fingering-weight yarn that works particularly well for shawls, lightweight garments, scarves and other projects where the natural sheen and fluidity of silk can really shine.

The smooth surface makes Ginseng especially lovely for textured stitches, lace and colourwork, while its drape gives finished pieces a fluid quality that softens beautifully with wear. It is also an excellent choice for luxurious shawls and accessories where you want colour to remain the focus while the silk adds subtle depth and lustre.
