Twilight is an extraordinary fusion of grey-green tones softened by a delicate wash of pinks and purples. This is a colour that shifts and transforms depending on the light, evoking the quiet magic of dusk when the last remnants of daylight mingle with the deepening shadows of night. The base is a muted grey-green, reminiscent of weathered eucalyptus leaves or the surface of a still pond under a twilight sky. Â
But what makes Twilight truly unique is the subtle veil of pinks and purples that seems to hover over it, like the last warm hues of sunset reflecting on cool water. These soft undertones add an unexpected depth, sometimes appearing as a gentle blush, other times as a whisper of violet mist. The result is an almost iridescent effect, never quite settling into one shade but shifting with movement and light. Â
This one skein is slightly lighter than the original dyeing... so is called Twilight Light.

3 Ply / Heavy Laceweight Yarn Base
Our 3 ply / heavy laceweight base is a versatile, lightweight yarn with enough substance to create beautifully defined stitch patterns while retaining the fluid drape expected of a laceweight yarn.
With 600 metres per 100g, it is particularly well suited to shawls, wraps and lightweight garments. The 3 ply construction gives the yarn good stitch definition and makes it a lovely choice for textured lace, cables and patterned knitting, as well as simple stockinette and garter stitch.
