Vintage Button on Fenugreek is a rich blue-teal with deep, saturated colour and subtle tonal variation. The shade moves between deep ocean blue and muted teal, creating a colour with plenty of depth without feeling overly bright. The soft baby suri fibres give the colour a beautifully clouded appearance, with gentle shifts in intensity throughout the yarn and occasional flashes of brighter blue where the fibres catch the light.

Fenugreek’s lofty, airy structure adds another dimension to Vintage Button, allowing the colour to soften slightly as it spreads across the halo. The silk content sits quietly within the blend, adding strength and a smoothness to the yarn without changing the softly matte character of the colour.

A versatile choice for shawls, lightweight knits and lacework, Vintage Button works beautifully alongside soft neutrals, greys, greens and other deep jewel tones.

Photos have been edited to try to show the rich green/teal colour of these skeins... but they are still slightly greener than the photos show.

Fenugreek

Fenugreek is a soft, airy blend of baby suri alpaca and silk, with a beautiful halo and a gentle drape. The long suri fibres give the yarn its characteristic softness and light, fluffy texture, while the silk adds strength and helps the yarn hold its shape.

With 300 metres per 50 grams, Fenugreek is a 3 ply / heavy laceweight yarn. It is lovely for lightweight shawls, wraps and scarves, and works particularly well in lace and open-textured patterns. It can also be held alongside another yarn to add softness, texture, more gauge and a soft halo.

Care
Hand wash gently in cool water using a wool-friendly detergent. Do not agitate or rub, as the alpaca fibres can felt with rough handling. Gently squeeze out excess water, reshape and lay flat to dry.

As with all hand-dyed yarns, we recommend alternating skeins when working with more than one skein to help maintain an even colour across your project.
