Jasmine – Merino Silk Yarn

Jasmine is a smooth, lustrous yarn base made from an even blend of 50% merino and 50% silk. This combination brings together the softness and elasticity of merino with the natural sheen and drape of silk, creating a fabric that feels beautiful in the hands and wears elegantly.

Jasmine is available across a wide range of weights — 2, 3, 4, 5 and 8 ply — making it a versatile choice for everything from delicate accessories to garments. The 4 ply base stocked here is non-superwash, giving the finished fabric a more natural handle and structure, with excellent stitch definition and a refined finish.

This yarn is well suited to shawls, scarves, lightweight garments, and layered pieces where drape and surface clarity matter. It works beautifully on its own and is also lovely when held together with our mohair and silk base, Shui Yun, adding a soft halo and extra depth to colour.
